1. Introduction
Welcome to ResourceCareConnect. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the platform operated by ResourceCC LLC ("we," "us," or "our"), an Oregon limited liability company. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
2. Definitions
"Service" means the ResourceCareConnect web application and all related services. "User" means any individual who creates an account. "Household" means a group of Users linked together within the platform. "Child Data" means any information entered about a child in foster or kinship care. "Subscription" means the paid plan required after the free trial period.
3. Account Terms
You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You must be at least 18 years of age. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at support@resourcecareconnect.app if you suspect unauthorized access. Accounts may be shared within a household via the invite feature only.
4. Acceptable Use and User Responsibilities
Use the Service only for its intended purpose: documenting care, managing records, and generating reports related to foster and kinship caregiving. You agree to comply with all applicable laws; maintain the confidentiality of Child Data as required by Oregon law including ORS 409.225 and ORS 418.648; only enter information about children for whom you have lawful caregiving responsibility; and keep your credentials confidential. You agree not to attempt unauthorized access, reverse engineer the Service, or use it in any way that could harm children. Legal notice: Oregon law requires that confidential information received in connection with a foster care placement be kept confidential and used only to promote the health and welfare of the child. By entering Child Data, you represent that you are authorized to possess that information and will comply with applicable confidentiality laws.
5. Billing Terms
ResourceCareConnect offers a 30-day free trial. After the trial, a monthly subscription is required. Payment is processed securely. Subscriptions are charged monthly in advance. Cancel at any time through account settings; access continues through the end of the billing period. No refunds for partial billing periods except where required by law. Current pricing is listed at resourcecareconnect.app and may change with 30 days' notice to active subscribers.
6. Data Ownership and Export
Your data remains yours. Export your data at any time through account settings. Upon account deletion, your data is permanently removed within 30 days.
7. Intellectual Property
All content, features, and functionality of ResourceCareConnect are owned by ResourceCC LLC and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Your data remains yours as described in Section 6.
8. AI Features
Optional AI-powered features are subject to our Privacy Policy, Section 8. AI-generated suggestions are provided as assistance only. You are responsible for reviewing all AI-generated content before relying on it for any legal, medical, or official purpose.
9. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is." We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, that reports will be accepted by any specific court or agency, or that the Service will meet every specific requirement. ResourceCareConnect is a documentation tool — not legal or medical advice.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ResourceCC LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. Nothing limits our liability for fraud, gross negligence, or willful misconduct.
11. Termination
You may terminate your account at any time through account settings. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these Terms. We will notify you before termination except where immediate action is required to protect Service security.
12. Changes to Terms
We will notify users of material changes via email or prominent notice within the Service at least 14 days before changes take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon. Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Umatilla County, Oregon.
